May 18, 2016 marked yet another milestone for SKD with the grand opening of its 7th branch in Baguio and yours truly was privileged to witness this momentous event. More than one hundred students from different campuses attended the ceremony. The Honorable Mayor Mauricio G. Domogan of Baguio City was also there to grace this awesome event and yes we wore the same color. haha
School of Knowledge and Development (SKD) is one of the leading culinary schools in the Philippines and is duly recognized and certified under TESDA. Established in 2007 with its main campus in quezon city, SKD is now gaining popularity offshore with its wide selection of program offerings that suit every unique need of their students. I had a chat with Mr. Jefferson Camba, Chairman of SKD, and according to him, the school was founded because of their love and commitment to quality education and through that, SKD main campus in Quezon Avenue, Quezon City was formed, now they have opened several campuses nationwide and are targeting to open a total of 15 campuses in 2016 including one in Malaysia.
The festivity concluded with a motorcade around the city. Students and officials of the school were all present during the parade to cap off this significant event for SKD.
